    Problem with the resolution

I have a laptop - HP Omnibook XE3, I have recently installed Red Hat Enterprise edition ES 4. Everything went fine, the problem is when I installed the distrubution the resolution was 800x600.

Actually I want to change the resolution to 1024x768, when I checked the resolution option to change, there are only two options to change. I didn't find 1024x768 option.

So please help me regarding this.

press Alt+Ctrl+F1, log in as root and execute 'system-config-display'. reboot machine.
in case it doesn't work, edit xorg.conf file manually.
    nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
set supproted HorizSync, VertiRefresh rates and Resolutions.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
