    KDE 3.2.2: Wallpapers do not work anymore??? (Please help)



    Hi ever1,

    I have installed KDE 3.2.2 on my system. (linux 2.4.26, glibc 2.2.4, gcc-2.29.5) And the wallpapers where working as could expected. (could set any known image(type) as background). But some days ago I have removed my laptop from its power and used the battery. Sinds that day I can only set transparent PNG files as my background image . The colors that can be selected at the background settings in KControll, will always be visable, so if I choose a "normal" image, then it is not shown, only my colors are shown???


    (please note: that my Blending option is set to "No Blending" at the desktop stettings)

    Can any1 tell me how I can fix this?

    I have found a similar problem in the KDE bug database. I have put my $QTDIR/plugins dir to the LibraraPath in ~/.qt/qtrc. This has solved my problem!!!


    Hopefully this posting can help other people as well.
