Just got 1280x800 working under Knoppix on my hp c301nr and kept 640x480 as a great magnifyer BUT 640x400 would work much better. How hard is this ? Funny resolutions all look fuzzy. Why do I often see [ctrl][alt][+] broken when an install gets lcd native correct ? The newest users may want only that one but its a better trade to just let someone comment out unwanted modes "its easier to subtract than add". Some funny new thing like beryl suppossedly makes this easy but I find my b2 with Be os notch gets messed up under that cruft.
