I've heard good things about CF such as it really is quite stable for an alpha, seen some demos, and noticed that Ubuntu is one of the distros that has a set of packages and a tutorial for installing it.
Well, I followed the destructions verbatim, and could never get CF to run. Went through the process of uninstalling all the packeges, reinstalled emerald, and now Beryl won't work anymore. This is what I get when I try to restart Beryl in a terminal:
brian@HAL:~$ beryl

At this point, I just want to get my system back to the way it was. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
