Anyone know how to make the kicker transparent?

I saw some people with transparent ones on Kde-look.org, and i havent been able to replicate it.

this is generally a hack. Especially in the distributions. I know that GNOME2 supports fully transparent panels now, but I think KDE is lagging behind in that. (don't know for sure, haven't used it). The best way to do it is to "cut" a portion of your desktop, and set that as the background of the kicker. There are little scripts that do it for you somewhere on the net.
