Blackbox/fluxbox questions

Right

I was going to download fluxbox, but when i went to their download page, i didn't see any redhat support, so i looked for blackbox instead. I want one of those two because I don't like KDE and Gnome, because I have gone-off menu based window managers like that.

My questions are:
1: Does fluxbox have redhat enterpride support?
2: How do I install blackbox or fluxbox?

I'd go and download the 0.9.12 version of Fluxbox from here: http://www.fluxbox.org/version-0.9.php

Install it as you would any other software, with ./configure && make && make install, for further details on how to install it read the INSTALL and README within the untarred download.

Fluxbox shoud work an any distro, the same as KDE or Gnome do.

Thanks dude, it's just I have it on a usb key and i don't know how to get redhat enterprise to read it. :oops:

I take that you ahve the floubox file on a usb key, so you will have to mount it and copy the file over somware.

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/key

Now you should be able to access your file via /mnt/key/ copy the file to somware like /home/username and install as you would normally.
