Alright, this may be a stupid question but what is the command for accessing what happens when I click on the computer icon on my desktop. I know it's Nautilus plus some other switches but I can't figure out what the other stuff is. It seems whatever I do do I get the /home/user view. I want the view with the filesystem,cdrom, network, etc. I am trying to add this to my gdesklets starter bar to launch it.
can you right click it and view the properties of it that should tell you what it does
I tried that but there is nothing offering any clues.
The computer icon isn't a normal icon - it's a built-in icon in nautilus which can be turned on in for example gconf-editor. To perform the same action, I'm not in gnome right now, but try something like this:gnome has some pseudo-protocols like this, and I have a sense for it, so it's worth a shot.Code:nautilus computer:///
