System-Wide Icon Change
Here's the deal:
I want to change icons for a few programs but I don't want to do the whole theme thing. I know how to change the icon if it's just on a panel or something (i.e. custom app launcher specifying the icon) but I also want that icon to be displayed
in the window list. I was wondering how I could do that?
Specifically for something like gnome-terminal. I realize a program like opera may be a little different. Let's use gnome-terminal as the example.
look for the icon in the general icon folder (on fedora 6 its /usr/share/pixmaps/). Replace the icon with whatever icon that you want, keeping the original name (you have to be root to replace icons).
