Cool latest version of freeBSD?

Hi,

very dumb question, but what is the latest version of freeBSD? (not the one under development, the stable one

Note that 7.0 (soon to be prod) and 6.3 (soon to be legacy prod) should be released sometime within the next couple months. They're both in the release candidate stages now.

In the meantime, 6.2 is probably what you're looking for. You will want to stick with the most recent -RELEASE branch, and not the -STABLE / -CURRENT branches.
