This is my first post and I've been ruminating about an issue for some time and now I'm out to find an explanation.

Since Mac OS X is a variation of Unix (BSD), can Mac apps like Adobe applications for Mac run on Linux? Is there any way to make they run on any Linux Distro (think BSD)?
