    I have a 56K modem, not winmodem, that does not get recognized by BSD. Can someone tell me how to make it recognize the modem?

    What kind of modem is it (manufacturer & model)?

    Diamond Multimedia. V44-92. Something like that. I can't remember the name. PCI. I know Linux can recognize it. It worked when I had suse on, but I can't figure out how to get bsd to recognize it.
