I'm not sure that the FS was corrupted though. I had to press the "off" switch to turn off the computer for awhile. But one day it just cures itself ...

    No way of telling now, 'cause I already erased the entire drive. Lessons learned this time will prevent future booboos.....

    A final word on this.......

    I find myself spending more time configuring ....or rather trying to configure BSD than actually using it
