Can you be a little more specific? What filesystem(s) do you want to use? What partitions will there be?

I have NetBSD on a HD, and I want to format it to Fat32 or NTFS. There won't be no partitions.

    1. Boot into a livecd.
    2. use mkvfat on the device netbsd is on.
