serial ata drive
Has anyone had any problems installing or tried to install freebsd 6.0 on a serial ata hard drive. I have tried a couple of times with no luck. Does anybody have any suggestions.
my hard is:
pcchips m870 socket 754
1gb mem
1.8 sempron
wd 80 gig sata hd
installing from cds
any help would be appreciated

i've installed freebsd 6.1 on a seagate sata hdd, had no problem installing.
but as a newbie i have a lot of other problems

xarax thanks for the reply. I finally got around to looking at my pc config and found a small hole about the size of a pin in the cable
