trrouble mounting
i assume those here are relatively familiar with BSD. so.
i have a trouble mounting the drive that's on FreeBSD and used to work as a server. i've been trying to find a way into the drive through USB-Knoppix, as the pass to the drive is completely lost.
this knoppix, does not mount the drive. the kernel version is 2.6.19. so i reckon that UFS is at least supported.
vague way of throwing a Q, yet any way into the trouble would be appreciated.
the goal is to retrieve the information in the drive and save it secure.
thanks in advance.

Is this regarding the exact same problem described here?
