oh, and i'd like to take this opportunity to post a link to an article i found informative titled "BSD for Linux Users"

as there are probably going to be some Linux users on this site who want a better understanding of *BSD. i found the article to be unbiased (though the author does run FreeBSD) and very helpful for understanding the differences between *BSD and Linux.
so yeah, i'm sure someone's going to start a thread called "What's *BSD about, anyways??" or something similar, so we can just point people who ask this question to the article. tell me what you guys think.
