Put together a "How To"
I would like some input on this please. I have a kernel compile how to for Debian (Etch & Lenny). I tested it over and over and it works great for me but I'm not sure if this site needs a kernel how to since there's only about 40,000 of them on the net these days.So I have not posted it yet.Does anyone want to look at it to see if it's worth posting or needs improvement ? I do not have a kernel patch section and I mention LILo where most other how to's only mention grub. Any ideas welcome.

I see no problem with it. If seeing your work can help someone else who might need guidance with the same compile, I say go for it.

I'm still giving it some thought. My "How To" is similar to so many others Just not sure if it's worth posting. Even so, I guess it would save people from Googling if I did post.

I don't think Internet is to full for another howto. Post it. Who knows? Maybe it's helpful, maybe not. I've had a lot of help from howto's that people just posted on a forum because they ran into an issue, solved it and made their notes public that way.
Not only that, but people googling for a howto in Debian kernel compilation, or are googling for some specific part you address... Provided your howto is technically correct
