    Vocabulary

I will admit I only read four pages in the suggestion box.. didn't run across this in a search either.
When learning a new language, the first thing one learns is the vocabulary. I have been reading in the newbie room (and others) and run across quite a few words that are just greek to me (anacronyms too) It might help if in that newbie room there was a list of terms that are Linux specific (and maybe a few that are referencing things to do with an OS that some of us only half up on tech speak are familliar with)
sure.. some of them are linked to wiki definitions,.. looooooong definitions. I apologise if this has been suggested before, implimented and I just didn't find it yet.

Check out the Linux Dictionary to help you get a handle on some of those terms, opal.

Have fun learning Linux, and thanks for the feedback/suggestion.
