moderator choosing

how can anyone be a moderator?does someone select which one should be?what should be it's abilities to be chosen?

Aim to become a trusted penguin first..

Moderators are choosen based on their input to the community, and also how the community perceive them. Moderators are people that have shown an interest in the forums, and have contributed in a helpful and polite manner.

Trusted sources are not moderators, but have been given their special rank becuase of their extreme helpfulness, in depth answers, and friendly manner towards other members of the forum.

Generally the process for moderator/trusted penguin selection is a thread in a private forum section that myself as well as existing moderators and trusted penguins all contribute.

In a nutshell moderator and trusted penguin status is not something that can be applied for, it can only be offered.
