Weird things happening to new posts

heres my story,
while im working, i get bored, check the forums for new posts etc.
i dont usually have time to read em all..so i just close it, and come back later
but for the past month or so, (i figured its from the change in servers) i notice that there are alot of posts that arent marked as new anymore (there are new posts the first time i come, i dont read em, but they dont show as new anymore), is this a bug/issue with phpbb? i dunno maybe just me, losing my mind
anyone else noticing this?

its happens, are you changing the computer that you acess the forum on? that information is stored in a cookie, so chaning computers can bobble it up, happens to me all the time.

that would explain it, i log in at about 15 different computers throughout the day....my job is %99.9 computers

hahah, i end up with that alot, its a little tougher to find post i use the topic reply notifications to keep me on track, but now i get so many, that they are not as useful
