    Changes to forum index

    As some of you may have noticed, the forum index now has a bar on the right handside.

    There are 3 key issues I am hoping to deal with by doing this, which are:
    • Move the user profile box which is on the home page into the forums, as the homepage will be changing soon and the box is not planned to be staying.
    • Provide easier access and more intergration with the Linux news section
    • Better intergration of ad's on forum index page so they dont break up the page


    If there is anything you would like changed/added/removed let me know and it will be considered. Comments and suggestions are welcome as always.

    I can dig it, at first i though it might only be temporary because of the work message, but this new layout is especialy appreciated on the smallet screens.

    Hmm. The new bar doesn't appear when using the subSilver theme. Is that in the works?

    With the amount of work im doing at the moment on the forums it would make my life much harder as i end up having to repeat 1 small change many times on each forum skin.

    hey, j.. i think that maybe it would look a little better if it were on the left... it being on the right-hand side just seems...wrong.
    Their code will be beautiful, even if their desks are buried in 3 feet of crap. - esr
