Err, apologies about the slowness. I know what caused it and it was out of my control. This was not related to the new hardware we're moving to... we should be on it soon, though (within days)... and that really should speed things up.

Guys, not sure if it's happening to all of you, but even when it's running at it's very best, it is still slower than a snail race for me.

Whatever the case might be, this is the first time I've even been able to post at all today, because of the speed issues.

It seems to be random. Over the past few days it has been slow but today it's better!

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Ozar, it's like hit and miss right now for me over here in West texas on Broadband. Sometimes it's instantaneous and sometimes 30 seconds to 1 minute to load now. Earlier it was timing out on my browsers.

Yep, same here, guys... earlier (pretty much all morning, in fact) it was only timing out with each and every page load, or giving nothing but blank white pages in a few cases.
Now, it's better (at least from this end), but just giving the very slow page loads, as usual.
Thanks to each of you for the feedback, as this seems like a very important issue, at least in my own opinion.

Posting again and agreeing with you guys on this because I'm still having intermittent problems here, as well. Page loads seem to go from the usual very slow to an extremely slow behavior every few minutes, or so.
I can literally click on a link here, then open my browser bookmarks menu and go to a couple of other websites in new tabs, open pages there and have a look around, then come back here to find that the pages clicked on earlier are still loading. As stated above, the extremely slow behavior seems to be intermittent, though.

Ok, turns out the issue was abuse (after I spoke with someone else). Hold tight people, we're moving to new hardware shortly...

Alright! We're on the new hardware... please let me know if you notice a speed increase.
