    As a senior developer I am "acquainted" with these strange ones; they aint fun but the sense of satisfaction when you get the bugger is undeniable

    "the sense of satisfaction when you get the bugger is undeniable" - I agree. =) Sometimes it's kind of fun to track them down... but it's more fun when it's your own code. Ok, there was a change made - are you still having the issues?
