Any way at all to do more than just ignore a user?
Is there any way to not only ignore a user, but not allow their name to show up in the list of who's online, when you're viewing it? So that you don't have to think about the person in any way?

Not that I am aware of but I am sure MathewGx (Forum Admin) will see this thread and maybe respond.

I guess it's not too big of a deal, really ... as long as they can be ignored, that's enough. I was just wondering if any extra steps could be taken, to give one the illusion that the person does not exist on these forums.

I just noticed, for anyone who wants to know, you can add forum members to an ignore list. It's in the UserCP link seetings and options>edit ignore list.
Happy ignoring people!

That's what I did, I added them to ignore, but their name showing up in the list of who's on was ruining the illusion of them not being a user here. I was trying to make it totally convincing.

@joeBuffer, I don't think there is a way to make it more convincing. You'd think that "ignoring" a user would make it as convincing as possible by default, but I guess not.
