    In case you might need to know for some reason, i am using Firefox 3.5.3 on Windows XP (don't ask).

    I also have the FF extension AdBlockPlus (v1.1.1) installed.
    Disabling it makes no difference. (Didn't really expect it to. From what i know it does nothing else than to block some images and SWFs.)

    That shouldn't really make a difference.
    I'm on a Mac at work right now, and I tried it in both Firefox 3.5.3 and in Safari 4.0...
    Same results.

    Oh, I'm with you now... I never use that search box because it seems pitifully weak to me. I do like the Advanced Search box though, and always use it.

    Just an update...

    TaylanUB, the search box appears to have been repaired. I've just run several different searches and all the results gave the .org extension rather than .com.

    Let us know if you run into other issues with it, and thanks for reporting the breakage.
