Have you checked sticky threads in Fourms?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

yes,I checked the articles too.
But,the sticky threads and articles require the permission of administrators(I think so).
So,if we have a Tips & Tricks section,many new comers can post threads like this

Users post threads like that one quite often without us having a special forum for it. The thing is, if threads like yours don't get locked right after posting them, they usually soon become support threads making them not all that much different from any other support thread on the forums.
We already have an Tutorials, HowTos, Reference Materials Forum, but it's not been in use much lately, so the threads in it are going out of date and need some serious maintenance:
Linux Tutorials, HOWTO's & Reference Material - Linux Forums
Note that all the threads in that forum are locked so that they don't become support threads.
Edit: just to add that we also have an Articles Submission page where you can write articles and have them posted on the Linux Forums Articles page:
