    Hi, pete!

    I'm not certain that I understand your question but if you are wanting to posts quotes and code here, you can use the QUOTE and CODE tags to put your text within. The small icons above the text box that you use when posting should offer the option for each, along with other options.

    Click on the Reply to post option instead of quick reply....you'll see a whole tool bar with code, quote and image tags.

    I used TAG instead of CODE to keep it from presenting as code instead of revealing the syntax.
