    Politics

I know that discussing politics is against the rules of the forums, but I was wondering if there could be a specific sub forum for political discussion of issues that lie within the bounds of ICT.

While political debate can degenerate into name calling and point scoring particularly when using an impersonal medium such as the web, I think that there are enough intelligent and open minded people on these boards to make such a thing worthwhile and very interesting.

There is a discussion about this very subject going on right now in the admin forum. We'll make an announcement should we decide to create any new forums.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
