New section announcement
Hi.
The new section does not seem to be named in the body of the announcement from MAS Media, nor does a link seem to be provided. Perhaps I simply overlooked it.

If it is a classified section, then I would label the sub-sections as a classification in the title, rather than category [minor quibble].

Hello, drl
I do believe you are correct that the Showcase (with the yellow "NEW" icon next to it) is the intended target of the announcement. However, I'm unable to provide any further information about the new section/module, or the announcement regarding it. Perhaps someone that knows more will see your post and provide additional information, or any corrections as needed.
Thanks for the feedback.oz

The yellow icon that I refer to shows up for me within the blue navigation bar running across the top of each page. The icon should be just under and to the right of the blue/yellow Penguin & Linux Forums Logo on the left side of the page. It might not show up, or it might be elsewhere for those using blockers I suppose, depending on their individual configurations. I use a blocker as well, so it might look very different for me than it does for other users.
Thanks for the feedback.oz

Update
Just a quick note here to say that a link has been added to the referenced announcement directing users to the new section of the website.
