    Moderating forums

Moderation should be minimal. More freedom for users means sharper minds feel better. And this is something you want. You want to attract and keep members who are here to help. Nobody likes if their decision is overruled. Today my post about security was moved to Coffee Lounge. The post about serious security problem.
Lots of forums out there lose members because some moderator is enforcing his/her opinions or just playing god.
Thanks for reading, have a good day now.

    Hi, Segfault

As indicated in the forum descriptions, the main forums are for actual help requests, and the Coffee Lounge is for all announcements. Sometimes, users and board admins might disagree about where threads belong, but in the end it's the board admins that have to make the final decision. Your thread is currently under review and discussion in the admin forum and we will take appropriate action at the end of that discussion.

    Thank you for the feedback.

Edit / Update: just wanted to let you know that those taking part in the discussion about this determined that your thread that was properly moved and placed in the correct forum.

    Thanks again for the feedback.
