possible new section
As I am new here, I am not sure whether this has been suggested before, but here goes:
Could there be a separate dedicated section for distro suggestions? Perhaps with 2 subsections like new users coming from Windows and advanced/veterans?
Just a thought.

The forum admins have discussed your suggestion in the admin forum and we have decided not to add any new forums or sections at the current time, although such a section could be added at some point in the future.
