Welcome to LinuxForums!
Nothing to worry about, cookie. It's an ad, much as you will come across on many other websites.
Gotta make revenue somehow.
Though I daresay that there has to be a level of legitimacy to the offer.
If you don't want to submit a phone number, you're not alone.
Don't pay it a second thought, and just enjoy your time here!

Hello and welcome!
There are some ads that come up from time to time offering something in exchange for cell phone numbers, or other personal information. Forum members should make sure they understand the details of such offers, then decide for themselves if they want to participate in those transactions, and give out cell phone numbers or other personal information only when the member chooses to do so.
Thanks for the feedback.oz
