What happened to the panel of forums on the left side of the page?
Is it just my system, or did everyone's list of forums on the left side of the page disappear? I used that extensively to go to different forums, or go back from the post I was reading to the coffee lounge or newbie, etc forum.

It's absent from the first "Forums" page. It seems to come back on the inner pages.

It seems to come back on some sub fora, but it covers the time of post and avatars section. Did this occur due to a site update, or is it a glitch?

That left side navigation panel has been removed and a new "quick navigation" button has been added to the bottom of most pages. Sorry for any inconvenience.

A huge improvement in my opinion...

I liked it myself and it's only now that it's gone that I've realised just how much. Still I suppose we will adapt

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I found the bottom button, but it isn't nearly as fast and easy as the old menu.

I've seen that some of the Forum Admins have been making some changes... so right now it's still a work in progress.
Personally, I never used the left-hand nav-bar, so I can't comment on the difference in speed.
I'll make sure that it's noted, though.
Thanks for the continued feedback!

I know this thread is old but I have been traveling for the past few weeks and am just now catching up on things. That said I place my $0.02 in and say I miss the quick nav list that was on the left hand side. I used to be able to quickly jump from forum to forum but now I have to jump back to the main page to get where I want to go. would be nice if this were an option.... hint.

Howdy Lazydog,
I'm in the same camp as Jay, I had never used the quick nav bar myself. I simply open each link in a new tab, leaving the main forum in tab one at all times. With that said, you can also use the "Contact us" link on each page to contact the site admins. Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
