ad on main page

Whew - thankfully I correctly guessed my user name and password. I haven't been to the linux forums in a long time and when I got to the main page this ad appeared that blocked out everything else - and it wouldn't go away. I tried clicking on "register" thinking that I could find my user name and password that way, but the ad blocked everything out on the register page as well. Doesn't look like anyone who hasn't already registered is going to be able to.

I assume no one knows about this?

None of the moderators here have any control over ad selection and placement on the website so the best way to contact those that do is to use the Contact Us link in the lower right corner of this page and other pages on the forum. Otherwise, they may or may not see your comments.

Just FYI.
If the ad happens to pop up on you on a future visit, there is an 'X' to close the ad in the top-right corner of it.

This ad was impossible to close. I thought there might be and X to close the ad somewhere on top but when I tried to scroll up, the ad would move back to the middle so I couldn't get to the top of the ad. The same thing happened when I would scroll down.
