tapatalk forum plug in
Is there s possibility to install tapatalk plug in? Is great app for mobile and I believe there are a lot of users who would like to have this feature enabled. It makes it way easier to browse the forums with it in a smart phone

Hello
That plugin has been requested by others a couple of times in the past, but my guess is that the forum owners decided not to install it, or they didn't want to install it at the time of the prior requests:

Hi, jgezau.
None of the Mods have control over what plug-ins are added to the Forum layout, so I would suggest using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. This will ensure that the people in charge will see your suggestion.Jay

I've never used it so I'm not very familiar with it, but should they decide to install it, I sure hope it's not one of those that leaves the spam ad at the bottom of each and every message that gets sent through it. Of course, if does do that, it might be blockable by adding another custom rule to adblock plus.

Although Mods don't really have anymore pull when it comes to feature implementation, I have forwarded your request.

Thank you, I appreciate it

I was one of them that requested this a couple years back, and the owners still took no interest.
I have ran vBulletin forums before and the plugin is basically a folder that is in the root filesystem, and then install the xml file. That is it, and the updates are painless.
They even allow you to implement your own ads and/or pay so much and have your very own app.
Oh well, I am pretty much only on my mobile devices anyway, and this site doesn't see as much traffic from me anymore because of it.

Yes, installing tapatalk is painless, I've done it before also and updates are easy to install. I will create a poll once I'm able to create one

We realize that you guys would like this plugin installed, I myself would like to see it installed or at least a mobile version of the forums. I have asked the higher ups myself. So, Poll or no poll there is nothing we can do about it unless the owner/operator obliges us. I'm going to make one more plea and we'll see how it goes from there. I'll let you all know the answer as soon as I get it.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
