    Membership advantage

Would it be possible for the forum to use the size of our membership to negotiate a deal with Tigerdirect, Newegg, Rakutin, Amazon, or some other retailer of computer parts for a discount to members? If AARP and other organizations can get discounts or special deals for their members, why can't we?

Not likely... at least as far as I am aware.
AARP is a profitable organization. We're a simple non-prof tech site.
You could hit the Contact Us button on this one, but I wouldn't expect anything out of it.

I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help. Please keep it on the public boards.
