Exclamation Is Linuxforums appearing on google search results?

I was wondering whether it happens only to me

Whenever I search for linux related answers, most often I don't see Linuxforums site. If I'm not wrong, in past I used to see Linuxforums in search results. Now its mostly quora/stackoverflow/linuxquestions or askubuntu/fedora etc

Did you guys change something with SEO of this site? Anyone else confirm this behavior ?

I can confirm. I find only rarely linuxforums as search result, and not only on Google.
Anyway, I think that the sites you cited have more users than linuxforums.

on duckduckgo it surely comes up.
not very often. this forum hasn't much to offer.

you can test with the current thread title.

Okay, then something happened recently (may be last 12-18 months). Almost I never received results from this site and suddenly today realized this.
I don't know whether users count can suppress linuxforums. Ideally, google also values when specific thread was created.

I use google mainly and duckduckgo from time to time. I was looking for search results on 'how to install/uninstall x on linux etc' for those generic queries ..I assume this forum results are not appearing - as it used to be.

a very typical linux related search.
there must be millions of results across hundreds of forums, blogs, wikis...

    - as it used to be.
a lot has happened for linux in the last ten years.
