    ^ nah, each time it happened i checked with isitdownrightnow.com or similar site. result was: down for everybody.

    It appears to get better every time, database error earlier.

    since it works now it would imply that someone has fixed the database error... but i'm not getting my hopes up for the future of this site.

    After at least a week down I really thought it was gone this time.

    apparently i didn't even try the last 2 days, i just logged in the first time for a week or so...
    yep, longest outage (database error) yet.
    i wonder who is behind all this, and why they are silent...

    n May 2018, the Linux Forums website suffered a data breach which resulted in the disclosure of 276k unique email addresses. Running on an old version of vBulletin, the breach also disclosed usernames, IP addresses and salted MD5 password hashes. Linux Forums did not respond to multiple attempts to contact them about the breach.
    Let's hope none of you re-use a password for this site.
