this doesn't mean you have to leave, you can post in other areas of the site, and since a lot of stuff linux related is common to each distro, someone should be able to solve any probs you have.

yeah I will still for the generall stuff ...
But I hate to have to post somewhere else at all. The help here seems to be the friendliest and quickest. I normally don't get help that is as intelligent or as fast on a distros own forum.

We'll still try to help (even if you ARE a bit weird...LormaLinux? Come on
). Just wanted to toss a shot at you, all in fun
Like sdousley said, a lot of problems don't have distro-specific fixes, and there are a LOT of things disparate distros have in common, so you should still get pretty adequate help here. There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

I still remember back in the days (not all that long ago actually) When there wasn't really a distro specific section, that's still a (relatively) new thing, so if u can pursuade enough people to use lorma linux and sign up to the forums, post a message for the mods and they might put a section up for you
That's if u can get enough people.
btw, what is lormalinux based on? I never heard of it before."I am not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings"

I think as Jason has mentioned before, the problem with adding new sections is a limitation of the board software itself, not for lack of popularity.

ah, ok, fair enough.
But going back to the original point, there's no reason as to why ppl here cant help you poetfreak
or at least it's not guna hurt anyone if you ask
and everyone here is willing enough to help, so anything u need, feel free to ask, and someone will attempt to help.

I looked at Lormalinux at www.distrowatch.com. It looks cool, an it is based on Red Hat, so you would still be able to stay, and post any questions in the RH/FC Forum.

I was thinking that there should be a "Other" Section under distro for some of the less common distro questions, or If distro doesn't pertain to the question
