Yeh i was just thinking about the anchors, do people read the descriptions for the forums? I only ever look at the anchors....

    I guess my only question is: where does it end? Often times when questions are asked in a distro-specific section of the forum they are not questions specific to that distribution, and could easily have been asked (for example) in the general "Installation" or "Hardware" sections.

    What I don't want to see is the same questions asked in the Arch section that have been answered many times in the Hardware section, or any other section... it's a duplication of effort.

    I actually brought up arch more to say it is not debian based then to say it needs its own forum. Arch is a more advanced distro, and I have not seen many arch specfic questions

    i dont think ubuntu should have its own section tbh, and it may look too cluttered if we put too many more on

    anyone else have the problem of searching forever and not finding it then posting and 2 minutes later find what you were looking for or is that just me??
