    I agree...

    The individual forums 'threads list' is what I am talking about - under 'Thread / Thread Starter'.

    The idea is to be able to tell how far back the thread goes - a day, a month, 4 years, etc. -- I think having the date of the original post along with the name of the original poster would be very worthwhile.

    Yeah I would concur with coderoot on that suggestion as any user will be able to know that how old a particular thread is and should it be bumped again and again which happens a lot of time and seems to be useless practice by many.
