    Additional information

I think it could be very useful at times if the 'original post' timestamp was displayed along with the 'original poster' name (in the 'Author' column) - in the same manner as the 'latest post' timestamp is displayed along with the 'latest poster' name (in the 'Last Post' column). Any chance this information can be added to all of the topic lists?

it is unlikely we will be implementing anything like that soon, as we are planning to upgrade the sites forum software soon, making any hacks on phpBB somewhat a waste of time.....

I just keep thinking this would be useful -- it would allow you to know - at a glance - the date/time of the original post...

Any reason this would not be a good idea?

Hi, CodeRoot - that decision is totally up to Core Wizard, as he controls the overall site layout. He does review this section of the forums, so I'm sure he'll give your suggestion due consideration.

    Thanks for the suggestion/feedback.

...but we don't want too much clutter

I personally wouldn't want to see anything extra added to the forum main index page because it would make it look overly cluttered, but I'm not opposed to a bit of extra info being added to the individual forums pages.
