He he ... My thread won't display correctly so I can't reply to it and tell you all how I solved this. It's the one about the Canon S500 which refused to work. I sorted it out and the solution was simple ...

Okay, this looks like the same thing that happened to DapperDan a few days back.
You'll need to create a new thread and don't use the word "print" as the last word in the title. It's some kind of bulletin board software bug and it has to do with the printable version of the thread.
