I **really** dig the email,discuss,pdf,print icons in the linuxforums articles. Here's an example:

Lot of pages have these links in their pages, but how am I to advise people to look for them if I they're always differently sized, shaped and colored?

The icons the linuxforums guys have developed for these functions are **really** intuitive and easy to pick out on the page.
