Firefox Search Plugin
Hey guys,
Myself and a mate of mine have knocked up a Firefox Search plugin for linux forums.
we just did it as something to work out how, and this site seemed like a great site to have one of these.
so, i figured i would post it here, and let people give approval etc..

i havent uplaoded it to the firefox plugins page, i wasnt sure if the site admins would be happy with it or not.
hope its ok, let me/us know what you think.
Cheers

erm, unfortuneately, i dont use linux as my main desktop OS.. which is kinda odd i know, but i like to toy with it on the odd occasion when i get bored.. which is why is search linux forums a lot.
but ill assume its the same as windows... in which case. you remove the 2 files form the archive (its a RAR file)
and paste them into your
/mozilla Firefox/searchplugins/
folder, then close all open FFX windows, and open a new one, it should appear in the drop down list along with Google, Ebay and the others.
hope it works. it defineately works in Windows.

Simply click on the "LinuxForums.com" and it should install for you!

Works here in Windows on Portable Firefox. I'll load it at home later. Nice work. IT would be cool to get the original LinuxForums logo though, if the CoreRoot allowed it.
