    Idea for forums: syntax highlighting?


    I just posted some code, and it got me thinking: "Boy, this would be cool if the forums did syntax highlighting." If code2html were incorporated, it would be pretty easy, I think.

    I think that'd be pretty neat; what about you guys?

    I like it. I can't think of a good reason why we shouldn't have it. I think one question that would need to be answered is would the syntax highlighting only appear in code blocks? Because if so, some words may be highlighted that weren't supposed to be. For instance, if someone enclosed the contents of their xorg.conf within code blocks, code2html might try parsing that as a programming language, no?
