Well, vBulletin is annoying.
I registered ages ago, but haven't been able to log in for awhile, as whenever I click the "log in" button, it blanks out the password, and therefore the server recieves a blank password. Some time ago, I used the feedback form to notify whoever reads it about this problem, but I never got a response (what a great help that was
). Today, I decided to be a bit more proactive, viewed the source, saw a crapload of Javascript around the login form, and decided to disable it. Disabling it, logging in, and then re-enabling it afterwards works, but is damn annoying. Will this ever be fixed?
Actually, I'll change that to another question. How long are you going to use vBulletin? There are much better forum systems available. And guess what, they aren't so freaking aggravating to their users. Oh, and another thing, they're free (I swear there is a free version of IPB somewhere, and I'm not referring to invisionfree.com). Why do people think that just because you pay for something makes it any better?

Actually this forum used to run on phpbb but then switched like 13 months ago. If you really care about the why (and if people were "upset") you can search the forum.
