    A note on posting...

    Sup All

I've noticed that a number of posts for help contain very little information regarding the problem. This makes it difficult to resolve the issue.
I understand when new to this, you may not be sure what to include in your post, so here are some common items to include:

    Code:
cpu : ram : harddrive size, basically any hardware specs related to the issue.
example: my modem won't work ... (include the type of modem, etc.), distro you are running, attempting to install.
Essentially the more information supplied, the better the chance of resolution. If not sure what information to include, or how to locate that info, include that in your initial post and I'm sure someone will help you with that as well.
Hopefully this helps us help you.

    Noted.

To help resolve this issue, the posting page now contains the following text on the right hand side:
    Asking a technical question?

Please include as much detail as possible, which distribution you are using, and include any error messages.

Please use a subject line that describes the problem where possible.

Click here for a guide to asking good questions. (opens in new window)
    Hopefully that will help.
