    Newsgroup Syndication to Cease

Linuxforums.org will cease syndication of linux newsgroups and all existing posts from newsgroups archived on linuxforums.org will be removed by the 1st of May, 2004. (11 hours time).

We will be replacing the newsgroups with a series of individual forum sections for the following linux distributions:

    • Redhat & Fedora
    • Gentoo
    • Slackware
    • Debian
    • Mandrake

If you would like to see forum sections for other distributions, please let me know and i will be happy to add them.

    Thanks,

    Jason

i know this prolly should go here but i thought aslong as we were on the topic of adding forums i would put in a recommendation. i think we should have a linux on PPC forum cause there are alot of ppl that use PPC computers and run linux on them i personally dont know how the setting up and running of linux on a PPC is different then on a PC but im sure there are differences the a recommendation. we could wait and see if anyone would use it before adding
