Since it only happens with an adblocker enabled, it seems like it would be an update issue with that plugin.
Have you tried using the fix suggested by ozar?

Well, reverting to a backup version doesn't seem to be supported on Chrome, but disabling the "Easy List" filters (recommended) fixes the problem, but serves up ads I don't want to see... At least it's not as obnoxious as if AdBlock was disabled altogether... :-(
It's all still being looked into. In my case, the fix provided earlier is working fine with Linux/Firefox, but it is not working with Windows/Firefox! It's all "really weird" is about all I can say about it for now! :?
Edit: I'm going to try something else when I get back to my Windows box and will report back with any new details.
Edit #2: never did get it to work, but I didn't have a backup of the older filters so will try again with a backup from another machine tomorrow.
Edit #3: okay, I found an old copy of my ad filters from Jan 9, 2012 and those worked fine to eliminate the breakage described in this topic.
Running SeaMonkey 2.6.1 static and Iron 15.0.009 deb in Antix with Adblocker. No problemos here. Still use my tab trick for moving page to the right in Chrome based and Opera based browsers though.
@ roky...
Thanks for letting us know that things are working correctly in seamonkey... the feedback is appreciated!
Update:
Okay, this issue appears to be related to a broken EasyList filter rule, not the forum software updates. The temporary fix for this until it's fixed in EasyList is to disable the "##.ad_global_header" filter rule. Note that you can use the "find" option in adblock plus to locate the filter quickly.
Another update...
Okay, the EasyList author has just notified me that he has fixed this issue in the latest set of filter rules. I've downloaded them and tested them, and the problem does appear to have cleared itself up.
Okay, I'm going to go ahead and lock this as SOLVED, as it appears not to be a forum software issue, but a filter rules issue as earlier suspected. I've tried the filter fix on Windows and Linux boxes (both running Firefox) and the fixed filters released by the EasyList author earlier today seem to clear up any issues.
If any of you should continue to have problems, check your filters, and if it's not that, please start a fresh thread with the details.
Thanks to all for the feedback.
